Mia Gomez is a dynamic scoring guard who has demonstrated the ability to take over games and deliver in high-pressure moments. Her combination of shooting ability, offensive confidence, defensive activity, and competitive mentality makes her a standout player and a valuable asset on the court.

Gomez played a major role in Hereford’s historic victory over Randall, helping secure the program’s first win against Randall in 10 years. In the matchup, she filled the stat sheet with 22 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 steals, impacting the game on both ends of the floor. She followed that performance with another dominant offensive showing against Perryton, pouring in 28 points and displaying her ability to consistently create scoring opportunities.

One of Gomez’s biggest strengths is her perimeter shooting. She has proven she can stretch the defense and punish opponents from beyond the arc, including a remarkable performance in which she knocked down seven 3-pointers. Her shooting range forces defenses to extend, creating opportunities for herself and her teammates.
