Lady Whitefaces Battle West Plains in District Match

The Hereford Lady Whitefaces fell 3–0 to the host West Plains Wolves in Tuesday’s district volleyball match in Amarillo.

Layla Mendoza led Hereford’s attack with 10 kills. Teagan Thomas and Karizma Rivera added eight kills each. Defensively, Kyndall Valdez recorded 31 digs, while Lili Madrigal contributed 10 digs and 20 assists.

The Lady Whitefaces kept working on both sides of the ball, but West Plains took the match in three sets. Hereford will look to build on those individual efforts as district play continues.
