Lady Whitefaces Take Down Pampa, 3-1

The Hereford Lady Whitefaces earned another big district victory on September 19, defeating the Pampa Lady Harvesters 3-1 at home. Hereford dominated its three winning sets by scores of 25-16, 25-12 and 25-16.

Kyndall Valdez delivered her best performance of the season, recording an incredible 47 digs. Her outstanding defense helped keep the Lady Whitefaces in control throughout the match.

Several other players helped lead the charge:

• Layla Mendoza: 17 kills

• Teagan Thomas: 19 kills

• Lilly Madrigal: 18 digs and 33 assists

• Kadynce Ramirez: 13 digs

The Lady Whitefaces will return to action Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. against West Plains. The matchup will feature two outstanding defensive specialists as Valdez goes head-to-head with the Wolves’ Idaly Sotelo.
