Whitefaces Fall to Seminole in Non-District Matchup

The Hereford Whitefaces fell to the Seminole Indians, 55-23, in Friday night’s non-district matchup in Seminole. The loss moves Hereford’s season record to 2-2.

Brix Machen led the Whitefaces’ offense with an outstanding performance, recording 11 receptions for 128 yards and two touchdowns. Senior A. Avina carried the ball 24 times for 84 yards, while quarterback B. Bell completed 17 of 25 passes for 181 yards and three touchdowns.

Defensively, senior E. Otero led Hereford with nine tackles, followed by senior N. Carbajal with five tackles.

The Whitefaces will look to regroup, learn from the loss and come back stronger in their next matchup.
