HEREFORD LADY WHITEFACES MOVE TO 2-0!

The Hereford Lady Whitefaces are off to a strong start, improving to 2-0 on the season after defeating the Lubbock Christian Eagles, 2-1, Tuesday night in non-district action.

Hereford’s offense came ready to compete, with Karizma Rivera leading the attack with 12 kills, followed closely by Teagan Thomas (#21, OH/DS) with 11 kills.

The Lady Whitefaces also made their presence felt defensively. Jolie Lopez (#4, MB) controlled the net with 4 blocks, while Kyndall Valdez (#12, DS) anchored the back row with an impressive 20 digs.

Running the offense, Illiana Madrigal (#1, S/DS) added 12 assists, helping keep Hereford’s hitters involved throughout the match.

With another team victory in the books, the Lady Whitefaces continue to show their depth on both sides of the net.
